Let’s Do Social & Community Enterprise Connections

A social & community enterprise is a type of business developed to meet a need in a community. It aims to deliver social outcomes through its activities in a way that is financially sustainable, bridging community and business environments.

Over last months, BHD’s  seed project (LYL) has gained momentum as a strategy to assist in the development of sustainable communities, particularly in disadvantaged neighbourhoods in need of renewal. We need network with individuals and groups in countless towns, cities and suburbs across Ontario have established community enterprises in response to identifiable community needs.

This blog will be providing news, resources, links and points of contact designed to support and network people involved in the development and establishment of social & community enterprises.
