Summer Camp 2012 Swimming Program Leave a comment
Every day, the kids enjoy 1-2 hours of recreational time in the George Harvey indoor pool. Kids gain confidence, develop their swimming skills and challenge themselves everyday.
Our Head Project Coordinator, Dania, in the pool below, says it best, “Isn’t it amazing to see the kids on the very first day.. being afraid to get into the pool.. and then today I see them as fish swimming free in the water”
For many of the kids, the deepend was the biggest challenge to overcome. It was wonderful to see so many of them achieve their goal!
Head Leader, Luz Maria, reminds the kids, “Try your best and for sure you will find your independence in the pool”
We look forward to publishing many of their stories from the pool soon!
Big thanks to our #1 Volunteer Lifegard, Fernando. Without his commitment this summer, the children would never have experienced the joy of swimming.

Registration
Preregister NOW to enroll your child in this year’s Light Your Life Summer camp sessions*. We offer programs to children ages 4 – 12.
Session 1 begins on July 3rd!
After you have submitted the following form one of our staff members will confirm your registration and contact you with more information
Once registered, you MUST attend one of the following orientation sessions at Flemington Public School (10 Flemington Road North York ON M6A 2N4) on:
- Friday June 8
- Friday June 15
*We have limited space at the camp, so please understand that registration is offered on a first-come first-serve basis*
